Non-Profit Organizations

Living your mission from the inside out.

Non-profit work is driven by heart and urgency. You are dedicated to solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges, often with limited resources and high stakes.

But too often, the urgency of "the cause" can come at the cost of the people doing the work.

We frequently see organizations that are deeply committed to justice externally, yet struggle to practice that same care internally. The result is often staff burnout, high turnover, or a disconnect between the organization’s public values and its private culture.

Liberation Consulting is here to help you close that gap.

We partner with non-profit leaders to build internal structures that are as equitable as the missions they serve. Whether it is navigating the dynamics of a diverse staff, moving beyond a "scarcity mindset," or creating hiring and retention policies that truly honor your team, we help you build an organization where your people can thrive—so your mission can endure.

RACIAL EQUALITY FRAMEWORK

The most valuable part of our engagements with Liberation was their ability to combine deep expertise in equity and anti-racist practice with genuine care for people in the room. We had the privilege of having Liberation work with us across the organization- from the Board to Executive leadership to staff for a range of collective learning and community and connection spaces, and in each one, folks felt respected, heard, and motivated to deepen their analysis around the specific learning goals.

We were so lucky to have a range of creative and talented facilitators and subject matter experts like Hideko, Ellen, Toyin, Michelle, and Lyssa who all brought strong frameworks a depth of subject matter expertise and a great deal of emotional intelligence to their facilitation and content creation allowing our teams to navigate complex topics while also offering practical tools for growth and knowledge acquisition. They were all such thoughtful and responsive partners throughout the process, making each experience deeply impactful and supportive.
